Afternoon : Visit Kangla Fort (closed on Mondays), the historical and cultural heart of Manipur (Distance: 2 km, 10 mins), Mapal Kangjeibung which is the oldest living Polo Ground in the world,Explore Ima Keithel (Mother's Market), Asia's largest women-run market (Distance: 1.5 km, 7 mins).
Evening : Participate in the Aarti Puja at the Govindajee Temple, Imphal, the main Vaishnavite Temple of Manipur.

2 | The Burma Border Tour (110 km/4 hrs)

Morning :After Breakfast, Depart from Imphal and begin your journey towards the border town of Moreh (Distance: 110 km, approx. 4 hours). En route views to the mountains that form the India-Burma border. Witness the Shenam Saddle, the site of fierce WWII battles between British and Japanese soldiers.
Afternoon :Arrive at Moreh and cross over into Tamu, Burma (Myanmar). Explore the bustling bazaar, interact with the friendly locals, and visit the main Buddhist monastery. Relish a delicious Burmese meal, immersing yourself in the local flavors and culture.
Evening : Begin your drive back to Imphal, reflecting on the unique experience of crossing South Asia's exciting and under-explored international border. Overnight stay in Imphal.

- Crossing into Tamu is permitted only for Indian tourists. Foreign nationals can travel up to Moreh only.
- The border and market are closed on Full Moon and New Moon days.

3 | Imphal to Moirang and Loktak Lake
